Serving a 50-mile radius of Pittsburgh
Building Contractors United is based in Zelienople and works about a one-hour radius of Pittsburgh. Most of our work is in Butler County, including Zelienople, Harmony, Cranberry Township, Butler and Slippery Rock, north to Grove City and south through the greater Pittsburgh area to Bridgeville, South Fayette Township and Venetia.

Where the work is
Butler County
Butler County is home base. Zelienople, Cranberry Township, Mars and Butler sit along Route 19, Route 228 and Route 8, where new commercial pads, warehouses and subdivisions keep going in. Projects here run through township building departments and the Butler County Conservation District for erosion and sediment plans, and the clay and shale soils reward careful excavation.
Allegheny County
Northern Allegheny County covers the North Hills, Wexford, McCandless, Gibsonia and Sewickley. Lots are tighter and hillier, so many jobs are additions, whole home remodels and commercial renovations rather than open ground-up work. Permits run through each municipality, and projects near the Westinghouse campus and the Route 19 corridor compete for the same skilled trades.
Beaver County
Beaver County includes the Beaver Valley towns along the Ohio River, from Beaver and Monaca up through the Route 68 corridor. Industrial investment along the river has brought new commercial demand, and older main streets have brick buildings ready for renovation. Terrain is steep in places, so site work and drainage planning matter from day one.
