Who we are

Building Contractors United (BCU) is a general contractor based at 64 Halstead Blvd, Zelienople, PA 16063. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. Information we collect

We collect the information you give us and a small amount of information your browser sends automatically.

• Information you submit through our forms. When you request an estimate or contact us, we collect your name, phone number, email address, project location, and the project details you choose to share.
• Analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. It records pages viewed, the device and browser used, approximate location based on IP address, and how you arrived at the site. This data is aggregated and does not identify you by name.
• Cookies. This site uses cookies set by Webflow (our hosting platform) and Google Analytics. Cookies are small files stored by your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.

How we use your information

We use the information you share to respond to your estimate request, schedule a site visit, prepare your estimate, and manage your project if you hire us. If you tell us you want to hear from us, we may also send follow-up messages about your project or our services through our customer relationship platform, GoHighLevel. We do not use your information for anything unrelated to BCU.

Text message (SMS) consent

If you provide your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, BCU may send you texts about your estimate, scheduling, and project updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or reply HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of doing business with us, and your mobile number will not be shared with third parties for their marketing.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

Third parties we work with

A few service providers process information on our behalf so this website and our business can run:

• Webflow hosts this website and processes form submissions.
• Google provides Google Analytics 4 and the embedded map on our contact page.
• GoHighLevel stores our customer records and sends our email and text communications.

Each of these providers is bound by its own privacy policy and is permitted to use your information only to provide its service to us.

How long we keep your information

We keep estimate requests and project records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our legal, tax, insurance and warranty obligations. Our workmanship warranty runs for two years after project completion, so project records are kept at least that long. Analytics data is retained according to Google's default settings.

Your choices

• You can ask us to update or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing jt@bcullc.com.
• You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP, and out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any message.
• You can block cookies or opt out of Google Analytics using your browser settings or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
